It also requires the D&D E-Tools product database (Database.mdb) located in the D&D E-Tools install folder (normally under "C:\Program Files\ Wizards of the Coast\eTools\Database"). *** Downloading *** You can download the main ET Helper program, along with it's various add-on programs from the program developer's (Davin Church) website at "http://www.talisman-games.com/ETHelper". *** Installation *** ET Helper is self-configuring and does not require an installer. Simply un-zip ET Helper and all of the modules into any directory of your choosing. All of the modules must be placed in the same directory (but it does not need to be the D&D E-Tools directory itself). Note: More extensive help instructions can be found in the help files (see below in "Help Documentation" for more details). *** Start Up Instructions *** To start the ET Helper program, you should locate the application program within the folder you installed. This file (ETHelper.EXE) will have a file extension of .EXE, the file type of "Application Program", or it can be identified by the "green wizard" icon. Double-click on this file to start the program. *** Upgrade Instructions *** Follow the installation instructions above. You can install this version of ET Helper to the same location as a previously installed copy of ET Helper. Visit the developer's site regularly to see if there are any updates or new releases for the ET Helper and it's add-on modules. *** Help Documentation *** To start the help menu program for ET Helper, you need to locate the help file within the folder you installed the ET Helper program. As a result, the E-Tools program is no longer available or supported, nor is any of its officially-published data. The old ET Helper web site was moved to a new location so it can still be made available for those needing to download it, but further changes are unlikely.
